Or, explain the supply issues right on the product page and let people know that you have no idea when the product will be available? I am guessing that Covid has seriously changed the company's customer service capabilities for the negative.

I am now looking for alternative Mac product suppliers since my old go-to source is no longer reliable. Not at all what I expected based on my past experience. It was a very disappointing and less than optimal customer experience.
It was explained to me that they couldn't get all the parts needed to sell these drives, so I had to make a purchase of an older style tray drive they had in stock to enable me to complete the work I needed to do. Rating: 1/5 I Never Received It OctoAfter waiting for weeks, this item never arrived and I had to contact the sales department about it.
